If you shop a lot with Amazon, then you may notice that they refund and credit you in different ways. Depending on the circumstances, your monetary kickbacks could be going in different directions, which makes keeping track of it all a challenge. Here are some helpful links to the different Amazon Balances:
Your Gift Card Balance: this is not just where funds from gift cards go, but also refunded purchase amounts (if not back to your credit card).
Your No-Rush & Amazon Day Reward Balance: this balance is where you accrue credit towards eBooks and streaming videos
Your credit & benefit balances: Amazon customer support will sometimes fix a problem for you and give you a certain amount of money as a “promotional reward” or credit. This value will automatically apply itself to a future purchases from Amazon. This won’t go to your Gift Card balance, so it can be hard to find or track!
You may want to bookmark those balance-pages, as they can be tricky to find through the normal Amazon menus.
