The scammers have some good timing. Many Costco members are seeing their special Visa rebate notices come in this month. So it makes sense that this Costco Membership Phishing circulate at the same time:
To be clear: the pictured email is a fake, and not to be trusted. Even though it says “Trusted Sender”, this is not from a legitimate Costco address, and the buttons and links will take you to scammy websites.
If you receive something like this, delete it or mark it as spam/junk. Do not respond to it in any way, do not click any of its links. Especially do not click the unsubscribe link!
